I Am the Free Box

It has been a lonely dark and dreary winter of no yardies.  Having said that, we have been to the bins 3 times in the last few months and my is it ever fulfilling.  Yarding and thrifting is all about the search in my opinion.  I admit to feeling discouraged at times, especially when a Saturday dawns full of thrifting promise and ends with several yard sale visits and no stuff.  Alas, a few Saturdays ago we had just such a day.  We managed to find one glimmer of hope in a neighborhood close to mine.  K managed to sidle up to the free box before I got the  chance and scored this wallet.  Bless her everloving heart, I just had to take it off her hands.  Couldn't find a sweeter wallet in any shop around here, and I won't be able to bog it down with a bunch of stuff.  Bliss.

Inaugural Blogural

My cohort and I were shopping at the local thrift emporium yesterday, and I realized that I will never live in a house big enough to stash all the finds we come across in our outings.  SO.  I shall start carrying my camera with me everywhere we venture and decorate our blog with bits and bobs, steals and deals, stuff we get out of the free pile and other items of the same ilk.  Speaking of the Free Pile, today I will post what is so far the BEST Free Pile item we have found yet.  I will give cred to Kat for making the deal, but I am so devilishly happy it wouldn't fit into her house!  Enjoy!
